Ron Miriello created the sculptures of 100 Worlds Project which were exhibited in Little Italy, San Diego, A book has been published and the collection exhibited at the San Diego International Airport.

 

100 Worlds Project

Could the globe form serve as a kind of blank canvas? The 100 Worlds Project was a self-initiated sculpture experiment to involve as many friends and collaborators as possible without losing the focus. After I completed 50 pieces, there was an exhibition to see what happened. Someone asked opening night, “When are you going to do the other 50 globes?” I replied, “I don’t know. It may be up to someone else, like you.” They stopped asking questions.
