After more than 20 years, Barratt American decided to branch out from their British heritage and set forth to become an independently owned California homebuilder. With this move, Miriello Grafico saw an opportunity to build on Barratt’s successful past, while communicating their commitment to smart housing in the US. Hence, a new branding initiative began to take root.

“Miriello Grafico helped Barratt American refresh our brand which accurately represents the company that we passionately believe in. Our goal was to create a look and brand that crosses over all our different consumer types, and Miriello Grafico greatly exceeded our expectations.”

VP of Sales & Marketing, Barratt American
The Challenge
Refresh an existing brand to reflect company growth and change, while still staying true to a successful brand heritage.
Brand Expression
To roll out solutions for an updated corporate brand required a keen understanding of Barratt’s corporate culture and core strengths. Building on California’s diversity of homeowners and Barratt’s diversity of home types, along with iconic tree references, MG created an updated identity system, graphic standards and messaging for a complete line of corporate marketing tools. Marketing collateral for select properties followed suit.
The Results
The corporate rebranding initiative increased awareness of Barratt American as a leading California homebuilder. Collateral promoting specific properties served to gain interest and educate potential buyers.
