Often overshadowed by the high-profile brands they sell, Road Runner Sports required a clear path on how to stand out and communicate their expert position to their customers. Change the perception that Road Runner Sports is just a distributor of mega-brands and reposition them as experts in their field.
Brand Expression
MG helped define and translate Road Runner Sports’ position of expertise into a well-defined brand pathway with a new identity and brand standards, performance-focused imagery, educational running messaging, private label branding and enhanced product presentation throughout their sales catalogs.
The Results
A 17% overall sales increase for catalog sales, despite 61% decrease in total circulation. Web traffic also increased, directly attributable to the changes made to the catalog.
