The brand is representative of both new technology and time-honored traditional suturing techniques to target surgeons looking for faster, safer ways of performing their craft with the maximum of control. Both the &#8220;Grateful Patients&#8221; advertising campaign and the Tri-City Medical Center Carlsbad Marathon advertising collateral were recognized by the Healthcare Advertising Awards (HAA) for their creativity, message effectiveness, and overall impact. With over 4,000 entries, the HAA is the oldest, largest and most widely respected healthcare advertising awards competition in the country. The &#8220;Grateful Patients&#8221; advertising campaign also received a Bronze in the 2010 Aster Awards which recognizes excellence in medical marketing. The award-winning campaigns are part of an ongoing, comprehensive marketing and advertising effort for Tri-City Medical Center implemented by MG in collaboration with the hospital&#8217;s Public Affairs &amp; Marketing Department.</p>

<p>Working in collaboration with invited Milano designer Chiara Occhipinti, Miriello and Occhipinti are respositioning the festival for local and international audiences.</p>
<p>&#8220;Films are a unique way to experience real Italy, from afar,&#8221; says Ron Miriello. &#8220;To connect with the huge audience in love with what Italy represents to America: style, quality, emotion, devotion to the heart. Italy in turn, looks to the U.S. as a place of opportunity, reinvention and personal expression. These two countries are constantly learning from each other.&#8221; MG is currently helping SDIFF establish a film festival in Radicondoli, Italy, premiering Italian-American films to Italians. The 2010 inaugural Italy FestivalE will probably be full of San Diegans!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><em><strong>This Ain&#8217;t No Disco.com</strong></em> is a wildly popular website that features the top creative work environments from around the world. Miriello Grafico&#8217;s <em>The Logan </em>buiding was one of the first offices featured on the site and generated a huge amount of site traffic. So when Ian McCallam, the brains behind the Australia-based site, invited MG to be one of 40 firms in their first HarperCollins book on the same subject, the answer was easy.</p>
<p>Miriello joins the company of world leaders in the book like Naked Communciations, Digital Eskimo, Ground Zero, Bloom Project, Fahrenheit 212, Massive Music, PostPanic, Nothing (Amsterdam), TAXI and Burnkit.</p>
<p>The first 10,000 copies of <em>Ain&#8217;t No Disco – Where We Work</em> are scheduled to be in stores in Spring 2010.</p>
