MG makes a splash in Las Vegas

The ballroom of the MGM Grand in Las Vegas came alive last week as MG’s short film on doing business in San Diego played for 2,000 influential meeting planners at the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) annual meeting. The destination film, produced by MG and directed by MG partner Tallgrass Pictures, thematically delivers on strategic positioning work completed earlier this year by MG on behalf of the San Diego Convention Center, San Diego Convention and Visitors Bureau and Port Authority.

The film follows five business travelers who come to San Diego and experience the city’s unique “vibe” that leads to inspiration and innovation. Its debut showing at PCMA 2011 served as the San Diego / Where Ideas Emerge campaign launch, intended to promote the destination as ideal for generating breakthrough ideas and moving business forward.
